The Modern Prometheans present “Rope” by Paul Cosca, adapted from the play by Patrick Hamilton.

Two young men decide to strangle a friend to death as a philosophical exercise. Are they truly above morality and beyond the reach of man’s petty values? That question will have to wait, as guests are about to arrive for a dinner party, and every guest knows the dead man in the chest. Dinner is served, and the victim is just below their plates. The whole thing could be found out at literally any moment.

July 18th-August 2nd at 310 N Main St, Suite C in Phoenix.

Tickets only $20. $30 VIP tickets include a drink and artisanal chocolates.

What is The 100 Club?

As we move forward with opening our own space, we are looking for 100 people to each give $100. This will satisfy our fundraising goals for this phase of the project, and allow us to put together even more shows, classes, and camps! Those in The 100 Club get some very fun perks, too. So make sure to join us for the benefit and jump in from the very beginning!

The Modern Prometheans is a theatre ensemble based out of southern Oregon. Our objective is simple: we, like Prometheus, want to bring fire to the people. Every project we produce should have the fire. What is the fire? It might be a new twist on a classic, or a thought-provoking night out, or a performance that demands attention. Fire is not boring. Fire is not the same old thing you saw somewhere else last season.

Fire is alive. It is exciting. And we want to make sure everyone can partake.
