FAQ

Does my child need previous theatre experience for this camp?

Not at all. This camp is great for students of all experience levels, and would be a great introduction to theatre for your child.

Do we need to bring any special clothing or equipment?

No special clothing or equipment is needed for this camp. Students should come dressed for movement, including comfortable clothing and shoes that are appropriate for dancing and movement. Please no flip flops, open toed shoes, etc.

Do you provide lunch for students?

We do not. We will have snacks and water available for students, but all students will need to bring food from home. Many of our workshops will have kids up and moving a lot, so make sure they are well-fueled!

Do you offer sibling discounts?

We do not, and there’s an important reason why. We aim to price our education experiences as low as we feasibly can, to make sure they are accessible to as many people as possible. Instead of pricing them higher and offering discounts, we’re giving you the discount right up front. If you are having difficulty with the cost, please fill out the Scholarship form and we will do everything we can to work with you, to make sure your child can attend.

What about the Q&A?

We have contracted with an agency that represents broadway stars for educational sessions, and they will be connecting us with one of the stars of the Broadway production of Spongebob Squarepants: The Musical. They represent (among many others) Lilli Cooper (Sandy Cheeks), Gavin Lee (Squidward), and Ethan Slater (Spongebob Squarepants). One of these three performers will be joining us for a 45 minute Q&A session over zoom during one of the days of the camp. As it gets closer to the camp, and the schedules of these performers becomes more concrete, we will know for sure who is doing the Q&A and on what day. We are extremely proud to offer this unique experience for our students.

When will tickets be available to the show?

Tickets will go on sale for the show as we get a bit closer to the summer (and we will let everyone know when they do). Each camp registration comes with two complimentary tickets, and additional tickets will only be $10.

What does “Youth Edition” mean in the title of the show?

This version of the show is a one-act version, about an hour in length.
